Judicial branch of government to contribute to modernization of political and legal system - Mami

The judicial branch of the government will contribute to the modernization of the political and legal system of the country, Chairman of the Supreme Court Kairat Mami has said during the enlarged meeting of the highest judicial body on the basis of justice judges for 2016.

"The importance of the institute of presidential power for our country is provided for by our Constitution and it involves our current development, our history, culture and traditions. The new stage of development of the state objectively raises the question of strengthening of the responsibility of the Parliament and the Government for the state of affairs in the country. The judicial branch of the government will also make a significant contribution to the modernization of the political and legal system of the country", Kairat Mami has stated.

The first proposals of the Supreme Court deal with the issues of the judicial system and legal proceedings, the judicial system of relations with the Government, the Parliament and other state bodies.

"In this regard, a lot of work for a broad discussion of the proposed measures, on ensuring the legislative powers of redistribution is planned", K. Mami said.
