Akmola rgn to launch cement plant this year

The new cement plant in Akmola region is expected to be commissioned this year in Yenbekshilder district, the construction and installation work was completed, director of the enterprise "Kokshe-Cement" Murat Moltusynov said at the meeting chaired by the oblast akim Sergey Kulagin.

As Murat Moltusynov informed, the company has completed all construction and installation work, development of investment is 61.3 billion tenge, 100% of the funds was provided.

"The documentation for the facility commissioning is being prepared. The work to simulate markets for finished products is being conducted. Other installation, commissioning works are being done, cement grinding lines, two cement silos, packing department, and separation of shipments for transportation", - he said.

Now, the factory employs 545 people, it is also planned to increase the number of workers to 650.

The plant completed work on testing of quality of cement production.

Recall, Akmola region is implementing one of the major projects of the construction industry - a factory producing cement with capacity of 2 million tons of cement per year.
