Kazakhstan is suggested to join the UN program on sustainable development of settlements, the president of Civil alliance of Kazakhstan Aygul Solovyev said today during a press conference.
"Kazakhstan today can't be away from the new directions of civilization development - steady communities on the basis of ecosystem planning, the city of the future, autonomous eco-settlements, "green" buildings. As necessary initiatives, it is offered to join the UN program on sustainable development of settlements, the World council on "green" construction, the agreement of mayors of the cities "East", Solovyeva said. “We believe that the idea of the 3rd industrial revolution in Kazakhstan has to become some kind of brand for the public, and "green" projects - to have the large-scale and "national" status.
