Kazakh chess player Zhansaya Abdumalik won International tournament

Young chess player from Kazakhstan Zhansaya Abdumalik confidently won with a margin male international tournament "Open Brno 2013" from t“Czech Tour” series, the press-service of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" - the general sponsor of the Chess Federation of Kazakhstan reports.

"Z. Abdumalik won without defeat with an outstanding result: six wins, three draws with performance of 2473, which corresponds to the implementation of the norms of international master points among men," a statement reads.

The tournament was attended by 69 players from 14 countries, including six international masters and five masters of the International Chess Federation (FIDE).

A victory in the tournament will add 30 points in the FIDE rating list, if Czech organizers send materials to the Counting Commission of FIDE on time. With extra points 13-year-old chess player will move from fourth to second position after Dinara Saduakasova in Kazakhstan women's rating list.
