Kokshetau launches lost foam castings production

Koksahetau plant Tynys is launching new production- output of castings of lost foam with capacity up to 1000 tons per year, the press service of Governor’s Office of Akmola region informed.
"The total cost of the project, which is the part of a regional Industrialization map, is above 600 million tenge. To date, the plant has completed construction work – and is ready to be put into operation.
The plant will manufacture products for the mining, defense and aviation industries, railways, oil and gas, and consumer goods as well.
Besides, the introduction of foundry modern technologies will meet the demand of domestic enterprises, which currently produce purchase of ferrous metal products abroad.
In addition, the plant will expand the range, increase output, significantly reduce labor costs, consumption of materials and energy, and improve the environmental safety compared to conventional casting technologies.
