Republican command-staff exercise on emergency situation held in Astana

The republican command-staff exercise "Kys 2013" was completed in Astana. The Minister of Emergency Situations Vladimir Bozhko attended the event, the press service of Department of Emergency Situations of the city reports.
"The subject of "Kys 2013" exercise is preparing and conducting rescue and other emergency operations in winter conditions.
The Ministry’s specific targets have been developed, and the willingness of urban services to eliminate emergency situations in winter season has been tested .
The two helicopters of Emergency Ministry were involved at the exercise.
216 people of personnel staff took part in the event, where 162 units of equipment were used.
