Astana hosts III International Conference 'Housing and utilities sector in Kazakhstan'

III International Conference “Housing and utilities sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan: problems, solutions and perspectives with the plenary and discussion sessions on housing and utilities’ sector development issues, energy saving, ecology, and green technologies in this area, effective management, organization, legal and economic perspectives of the hosing relations’ development has started in Astana, the press service of the “Kazakhstan housing and utilities sector reform center" JSC reported.

The conference is held within the Program of Modernization of the housing utilities sector for 2011-2020 and the "Energy consumption 2020" Program.

The key aimof the conference is to create a dialogue platform for exchange experiences, discussion of issues of multi-family housing thermo-modernization, the development of new proposals and recommendations of effective mechanisms and approaches for the development of housing relations, discussion of joint projects and programs, and promotion of new technologies, attracting investors and investments, the development of tools to solve problems of increasing energy saving.

Minister of Regional Development of Kazakhstan Bolat Zhamishev, UNDP Permanent Representative in Kazakhstan Stephen Tull and Head of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan Aurelia Bouchez will attened the event.

The agenda includes the modernization of housing and utilities and energy conservation, improvement and development of housing relations, implementation of new technologies and innovations in the sphere of housing and utilities, etc.

In addition, finalists of the “Best organization of condominium facilities’ management 2013” republican tournament will be awarded in frames of the meeting.
