NCE proposed to establish Coordinating Council of corporate governance

National Chamber of Entrepreneurs is ready to be a platform for dialogue on corporate governance matters, it is necessary to establish a National Coordinating Council. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Rustam Zhursunov at the National Forum "Corporate Governance: new perspective on Kazakhstan investment attractiveness".

"We are ready to be a platform for dialogue, it is necessary to establish a National Coordinating Council with participation of national companies, banks, small and medium-sized businesses. The Council will develop national standards, close to the international ones", - he said.

According to R. Zhursunov, the main task is to establish mutual respect for cooperation, to create the conditions for development based on the principles of corporate governance.

Astana hosts the national forum "Corporate Governance: new perspective on Kazakhstan investment attractiveness". More than 150 representatives of government agencies were invited. Managers are actively developing corporate governance in Kazakhstan – the National Bank of Kazakhstan, KASE, "National Welfare Fund" Samruk-Kazyna " JSC, " NMH "Baiterek" JSC, NCE "Atameken", the company's public and private sector, representatives of international organizations.

The forum discusses key processes of transformation in the system of corporate governance, new trends in the field of management, market transparency, investment protection mechanism, the creation of innovations and initiatives to improve the country's investment attractiveness, corporate governance.
