332K new workplaces created in Kazakhstan
According to the local executive bodies, as of October 1, 2019, 332 thousand new jobs have been created, that is 89% of the annual plan (373 thousand), including 146 thousand in rural areas, Strategy2050.kz refers to the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan.
Of the total number of jobs, 214.4 thousand are full-time jobs, 117.6 thousand are temporary.
By type of economic activity, the largest number of jobs has been created in the wholesale and retail trade sector - 35.8 thousand. 32.9 thousand have been created in the construction sector, 31.2 thousand - in agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
The largest number of jobs were created in Almaty (42.3 thousand) and Karaganda (31 thousand) regions, and in the city of Almaty (36.4 thousand).
The smallest amount was created in Kyzylorda (9.6 thousand), Akmola (10.3 thousand) and West Kazakhstan (10.8 thousand) regions.
It should be noted that nowadays job creation is mainly generated by projects implemented within the framework of the state programs, territorial development programs, investment projects, and programs to stimulate the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Looking back, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan adopted new rules for monitoring the creation of jobs. MLSPP RK also developed an information system “Integrated Job Creation Map”, which monitors the regions to rural settlements, government programs, small and medium-sized businesses, projects, enterprises, industries with the possibility of developing summary forms and reporting.
