"The requirements for the current judges are strengthened. A project of the new Ethics Code of judges is developed, opportunities for the citizens to complain about the actions of the judges in the court jury are expanded. It should also be noted that the composition of the court jury has two independent commissions - qualifying and disciplinary. The competence of the jury has updated test questions of judges on the professional line position, as well as participation in the contest for the position of superior services. It is a direct tool for verifying professional judges, which is done in full accordance with the rules of meritocracy", D. Abdugaliyev has said.

A trial period lasting one year for newly elected judges is introduced. They have the obligation to consider not complex cases, the civil and administrative cases.

"After the expiry of the probationary period a judge will have to be approved at the plenary session of the Regional Court. The procedure of appointing judges is complicated. New, more stringent criteria for the selection of judges are introduced", head of the Yessil district court of Astana has said.
