EXPO - 2017 opens Kazakhstan to the world

Astana hosts the second meeting of international exhibitors EXPO - 2017. The event was opened by Deputy Prime Minister Dariga Nazarbayeva. She emphasized that the EXPO - 2017 will be a platform to showcase the best achievements in the field of "green energy".

Chairman of the Board of "NC "Astana EXPO - 2017" JSC Akhmetzhan Yessimov emphasized that the success of the exhibition will stimulate the further sustainable development of the country. The head of the national company also noted that special attention is paid to creating the most comfortable conditions for international participants.

"The Government and BIE signed the «See Agreement». This agreement provides for privileges and preferences, such as tax exemptions, simplification of customs procedures, insurance and so on. In this part Kazakhstan has expanded the list of preferences. These exemptions allow international participants to significantly reduce the cost of participation", - said Akhmetzhan Yessimov.

In turn, the Secretary-General of Exhibitions Vicente Loscertales noted that the presence of all participants is a sign of friendship and ties between the countries, which have a common understanding that the world needs new opportunities.

«EXPO - 2017 - is an opportunity to discuss energy issues at the global level. Relevance of the topic "Energy of the Future" makes the exhibition interesting to discuss new ideas and the best practices. EXPO - 2017 will help to understand the problems of the global energy and the challenges in this area. For the participants of EXPO - 2017 exhibition will become an opportunity to present their solutions and developments in the field of "green energy", - said Vicente Loscertales.

Also, manager of an international financial center "Astana" Kairat Kelimbetov noted that all will be used after the exhibition.

"Heritage of the exhibition is the conditions to create the financial center, its authorities, infrastructure organizations, international financial institutions, the participants. The estimated area of ​​20 objects located in the exhibition area is ​​25 hectares. It will include 14 international pavilions, Corporate Pavilion, the exhibition organizer's office, Congress office, Congress Centre, Pavilion "National Day "hall" Energy ", - K.Kelimbetov said.

In other words, such large-scale projects such as EXPO - 2017 and MFTSA will have a positive long-term impact on financial market development, Astana and Kazakhstan's economy.
