N.Nazarbayev to meet with President of Egypt in Astana

A meeting of President Nursultan Nazarbayev with Chairman of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan is planned for February 25. The sides will discuss the issues of functioning of the EurAsEC and the priority directions in the work of the Commission planned for this year.

On the same day, N. Nazarbayev is expected to meet with Secretary General of the International Exhibition Bureau Vicente Loscertales. The interlocutors are planned to discuss the process of preparation for holding of the EXPO-2017 and the contents of the built pavilions.

On February 26 the Head of state will meet with President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Official visit will be carried out within the framework of the Asian tour of the President of Egypt and aimed to give impetus to Kazakh-Egyptian cooperation.

It is expected the parties will discuss the areas for cooperation such as trade, economic, agricultural and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as the infrastructure construction and the transport and logistics industry.
