Construction of int’l pavilions of EXPO-2017 to be completed by November 2016

The construction of the international pavilions is in an active phase and will be completed by November 1 this year, Chairman of the Board of "NC "Astana EXPO-2017" JSC Akhmetzhan Yessimov has said at the meeting of the international exhibitors.

"Nowadays 74 countries and 14 international organizations have officially confirmed their participation in EXPO-2017. The participation contracts have been signed with 27 countries. We are preparing to sign at least another 12 contracts. I would like to express our gratitude to these countries for showing commitment to the project EXPO-2017 and a positive response to the invitation of Kazakhstan. We expect that the exhibition will be attended by over 100 countries, which will undoubtedly be one of the key formulas for success", he has said.

Meanwhile, A. Yessimov has said that the construction of the international pavilions is now in an active phase and will be completed by November 1 this year.

In addition, the Chairman of the Board has paid special attention to the internal content of the pavilions.

"I want to remind that the EXPO is a global marketplace, where all countries can openly show their best achievements. In this regard, I call on all parties to seize this opportunity and to show all your scientific and technological, intellectual, architectural design potential on this important subject "Energy of the Future", A. Yessimov has said.
