'AstanaOpera' soloist Nurzhamal Usenbayeva received “Golden Europea” honorary reward

People’s artist of Kazakhstan Nurzhamal Usenbayeva (soprano) has received a high distinction in the sphere of artistic and cultural activity - “Golden Europea” from the European Arts Union. The opera dive performed at a charity gala concert on November 4 in Prague, and Usenbayeva brought a golden figurine and a diploma to the motherland. 20 people in the whole world are the owners of this award, the press service of Astana Opera reports.

The solemn gala concert was held in Rudolfinum in Prague in support of children with cancer, organized to raise money to provide opportunities of their treatment in modern institutions equipped with up-to-date technologies.

The gala concert involved a star of the world opera stage - baritone Filip Bandzak (the Czech Republic) in a duo with Nurzhamal Usenbayeva accompanied by the South Czech Chamber Orchestra, Petr Chromchak as a conductor.

On November 8, Kazakh spectators can enjoy the charming voice of Nurzhamal Usenbayeva in “Astana Opera”, she will perform the part of Sara in the immortal opera by Mukan Tolebayev “Birzhan-Sara”. The singer will create an inimitable image of the folk poetess in the high stage, and the part of great Birzhan-sal will be performed by the Honored artist of Russia Akhmed Agadi. Rehearsals for “Birzhan-Sara” performance are at full speed in the theatre.
