Winners of "Til Zhanashyry" contest awarded in Karaganda
"The competition was attended by representatives of various institutions and organizations, ethnic and cultural association, journalists of electronic and print media, students, civil servants," a statement reads .
"President Nursultan Nazarbayev has consistently emphasized that the official language is the same symbol as flag, emblem, anthem, from which Motherland begins. It is main task to integrate all citizens," the head of the region Baurzhan Abdishev said in his speech.
According to the report, all possibilities for learning the state language are created. Organizations and businesses open courses, publish and distribute scientific and educational materials. Different contests on knowledge of the state language are organized. The number of non-indigenous people who learns state language are growing as well.
One of the measures aimed at the implementation of the state language policy is holding "Til Zhanashyry " contest. The purpose of the event is to support people who have contributed to the development of the state language.
