Railway administration of Kazakhstan & Tajikistan agreed to develop coop in transport sector

In Dushanbe CEO of "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" JSC Askar Mamin negotiated with head of the State Unitary Enterprise “Rohi Ohani Tojikiston” (Tajik railway) Komil Mirzoali, the national company reported.

The sides noted the positive development of cooperation in the field of renovation of the locomotive fleet, further modernization of the sector.

Chairman of Tajik railways K. Mirzoali noted readiness to mutually beneficial partnership with "National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" JSC in the field of railway engineering.

The parties agreed to conclude a contract to supply two units of Kazakhstan locomotives TEZZA Evolution between "Locomotive Kurastyru zauyty" and State Unitary Enterprise "Rohi Ohani Tojikiston".

In addition, the Tajik side is ready to provide a request for the purchase of freight wagons and railway products of Kazakhstan producers.

During the meeting the sides discussed the joint development of training program of locomotive drivers at the training center of "KTZ" in Astana.
