Kazakhstan’s subsistence minimum amounted to 18 638 tenge in October

The level volume of subsistence minimum in October amounted to 18 638 tenge, the press service of Agency of Statistics of Kazakhstan.
“In October of the current year the level of subsistence minimum per capita, calculated on the base of minimum consumption standards of basic foodstuff, in comparison with the past month reduced by 0,9%, and in comparison with October of the past year it increased by 2,2 %”, the statement reads.
The part of expenses for meat and fish was 21,7%, dairy and oil products and eggs - 15%, fruit and vegetables – 14,2%, bread and cereal products - 7,2%, sugar, tea and spices - 1,9%.
