Representative of the General Prosecutor’s Office, Deputy Minister of Regional Development Serik Zhumangarin and managing director of “Damu” fund Miras Beisembayev are invited to take part in the media briefing of the CCS on Tuesday, October 22, 12 pm. They inform about the progress in fulfillment of the instructions of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev given at the enlarged sitting of the Government of Kazakhstan on October 11, 2013.

At the recent enlarged session of the Government, the President of Kazakhstan noted effectiveness of the Business Road Map – 2020 Program and also stressed some issues occurring during the program implementation.

The loan subsidization mechanism is not implemented under "Business Road Map 2020" program in 43 districts and cities of regional importance. Moreover, microcredits for start-ups projects was not allocated for 10 districts and cities of regional importance.

The President also noted that there are violations during inspections. As the result the Head of the State instructed the General Prosecutor to develop proposals to reduce the verification activities, as well as to punish the initiators of illegal inspections.

Business Roadmap 2020 is being implemented by the Kazakhstan’s Government to support small and medium-sized SMEs enterprisers through milder loans in the wake of the global financial crisis. The Government subsidizes new loans and earlier extended loans to (SSMEs). At the 1st stage of the Program (2010-2014) the Program seeks to support new business initiatives; resuscitate the SMEs sector; and bolster exports-related businesses.
