SPIID: By 2020 share of innovative and active enterprises to be increased by 2 times

"In accordance with the request of the Head of State, the second five-year plan is focused on the industrialization of innovative development of industry. The main purpose of the second five-year plan is to ensure productivity growth by creating of the foundations of transition to innovation-driven economy. Our indicators are very ambitious. By 2020, we expect an increase in the share of innovative and active enterprises up to 20%", L.Sadykova has said.
According to her, two priorities are put for the plan of a second five-year plan in innovation policy.
"The first is the reduction of technological backwardness in traditional industries. We have our priorities - metallurgy, petrochemicals, machinery, chemicals, construction industry and the food industry", she has said.
"The second is the development of new directions. Here, our main activities will be aimed at creating of favorable conditions for business, aimed at the implementation of modern technological solutions. The focus in this area will be on the localization of products, cheap services, materials and infrastructure available. Therefore, our efforts will be concentrated on the following areas: integrated solutions in the energy and utilities, primarily alternative energy with a guide at the Expo 2017, new materials, alloys with rare earth elements, the new agriculture - robotics, automation of agriculture, water management, bioinformatics, bioengineering, intelligent transport logistics, navigation systems of mobile objects, software, data processing", L.Sadykova has added.
The commercialization of scientific and technical activities with the state support of all phases of development from idea to implementation will be carried out.
