Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between “KTZE-Khorgos Gateway” LLP and Governor’s office of Almaty region, the press service of the company informed.

Memorandum of Cooperation on the implementation of the project on construction and operation of "Dry Port" SEZ "Khorgos-Eastern Gates" is aimed at realization of "Nurly Zhol" to strengthen the social sphere, employment, implementation of the state program of the regional development.

"Dry port" will function as the largest transport and logistics and distribution center of the international level, providing Kazakhstan, China and the countries of the Eurasian region with new opportunities for access to the markets.

By the end of this year about 500 jobs will be created, and since a full launch of the project about 10 thousand jobs will be opened.

As indicated in the document, at least 80% of the total number of personnel of “KTZE-Khorgos Gateway” will be involved from the local talent pool. In this regard, Governor’s office of Almaty region will promote the organization of training and development of future professionals in the transport and logistics sector.

Memorandum of cooperation was signed by deputy Governor of Almaty region S. Turdaliyev and CEO “KTZE - Khorgos Gateway” LLP K. Gacy.

“KTZE-Khorgos Gateway” is a subsidiary of “KTZ Express” JSC, of the national multi-modal transport and Logistics Company providing a full range of transportation services. “KTZ Express” is a subsidiary of "NC "KTZ" JSC.
