More than 180K people visited flower festival "Almaty - Gul Kala"

More than 180,000 people have visited the park named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the V Anniversary Annual Flower Festival "Almaty - Gul kala."

The design theme includes popular trends of the season such as the stained glass and mosaics, combined with ethnic patterns and ornaments. Fair-exhibition presented a wide range of colors. This year it was attended by over 100 companies - a record number.

There were 30 participants from 8 districts of the city contested for the title of the best florist and award of 1 million tenge. The second and third place winners received 500 and 300 thousand tenge.

In addition, the organizers have included a series of nominations for children's category. Young florists received prizes in the form of gadgets - iPhone, iPad, and others. Thus, the total prize fund of the anniversary was 2.5 million tenge.

V Festival "Almaty - Gүl қala" traditionally ended with the night with fireworks.
