20-year-old Kazakhstan woman set unique achievement in world tennis

Tennis player from Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina entered the second round of the Premier category tournament in Doha, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to Sports.kz.
In the opening match, Rybakina defeated the representative of Romania, Sorana Cirstea, with a score of 3:6, 6:3, 6:1. The meeting lasted 1 hour 41 minutes.
20-year-old Rybakina became the first tennis player to win 20 matches at WTA tournaments in 2020. Previously, this happened 11 years ago, when Elena Dementieva won 20 matches in the first two months of 2009.
For reaching the third round of the tournament in Doha, Rybakina will face with Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck.
