Over 1.5 trillion tenge is invested in agriculture in Kazakhstan: President
"Considering growth rates of the Earth population, demand for foodstuff will shortly grow. In this regard the agriculture role increases, and it is necessary to prepare for it. Today world experience shows that in the presence of raw materials there has to be its full processing for delivery of finished goods to domestic and foreign markets. All of you are familiar with the Agrobusiness-2020 Program which is directed to support agro-industrial complex and includes financial support, insurance of risks, agricultural machinery leasing, and also introduction of new technologies in the sector. More than 3 trillion tenge is allocated for all this. These are very high expenses. It should be noted also that for these years we already enclosed in agriculture more than 1.5 trillion tenge," the President of Kazakhstan said.
The head of state once again paid attention to importance of agriculture diversification and effective expenditure of public funds within development of livestock branch.
