Kazakh state agencies supported amendments on issues of Entrepreneurship to Treaty on Customs Code of EAEU

During the first meeting of the working sub-group on improvement of customs legislation of the Customs Union and Kazakhstan the state bodies supported the amendment on the issues of Entrepreneurship to the Treaty on the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan reported.

The working group meeting was held under the holding of internal coordination procedures of the draft Treaty on the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union.

During the discussion of the amendments to the draft Treaty on the Customs Code of the EAEU, the state agencies supported the principal amendments for the business.

In particular, the amendments on fixing of the right of the customs applicant for independent identification after release of goods and elimination of violation of customs and other legislation in the sphere of the customs affairs were adopted; about not involvement of the customs applicant to the responsibility provided by the legislation of the member states in the following cases at change of a code of goods at revision of decisions on classification of goods after their release in a case when the established fact of incorrect classification of goods by the official of customs authority before release of goods.

And also at independent elimination of the violations revealed by the results of cameral customs inspection within ten working days from the date of the delivery following behind day to the checked face of the notice of elimination of violations by results of cameral customs inspection, independent identification and voluntary elimination of violations within one year after release of goods before carrying out exit customs inspection.
