KZT 630 mln to be allocated for restoration of 31 monuments (PHOTO)

More than 630 million tenge will be allocated for the restoration of 31 historical and cultural monuments in Kazakhstan in 2015, director of the Republican State Enterprise "Kazrestavratsiya" Kanat Tuyakbayev said during the CCS media briefing.

"Total 633 million tenge will be allocated for the restoration of 31 historical and cultural monuments", K. Tuyakbayev said.

However, according to the director of the Republican State Enterprise "Kazrestavratsiya", since 2004 to 2011 73 historical and cultural monuments were restored, reconstructed and included in the list of tourist infrastructure, 2 monuments were included into the list of UNESCO World Heritage. "In 2003 the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi and in 2005 the historical and cultural complex Tamgaly reserve were included in the list of UNESCO", he continued.

In turn, director of the Department of Culture and Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Sport Aktoty Raiymkulov noted that Kazakhstan every year pays much attention to promoting the restoration of the historic preservation of cultural heritage. "Over the years of Independence the list of national and local significance of historical and cultural monuments was established, there is over 30 million, including more than 25 thousand - historical and cultural archaeological monuments", A.
