27K NGOs operate in Kazakhstan

Speaking during media briefing focused on provision of expert support in the sphere of forming the legal groundwork for labor relations and NGO activity President of the Eurasian Human Rights Center Public Foundation, professor, doctor of laws Yenlik Nurgaliyeva informed around 27 thousand of NGOs operate in Kazakhstan.

According to her NGO- is firstly is a good thing for the society.

“Social projects are aimed at issues of disadvantaged families, problems of minor children and etc. And the state not always addressed suc issues. I suppose more NGOs should be involved in the process of such projects’ implementation,” she said.

According to her, some NGOs do not function currently due financing of the tender documentation. Currently the restrictions lifted.
