Famous artist of St.Petersburg developed collection of Kazakh National Museum

The National Museum of Kazakhstan held a roundtable as a part of close out of the exhibition of the Russian artists Latif Kazbekov and Alexey Talaschuk “We belong together.”

Representatives  of the Kazakh National Museum of the Republic, Counselors of the Russian Embassy of in Kazakhstan Victor Nefedov and Valentina Lysenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kaspi bank JSC  Vyacheslav Kim, head of the project "Free artists Petersburg" Yuri Saulidi, members of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan Akhmetzhan Kaliolly , Armat  Bektasov  and Sembigali Smagulov, Chair  of the Union of Artists of Astana Toktar Yermekov, art critic, head of the Center for Contemporary International Art  of the Kasteyev State  Museum of Arts  Yelizaveta Kim attended  the event.

Promotion of the fine arts of the Petersburg artists in Kazakhstan and Kazakh artists in St. Petersburg, in collaboration with the NGO "Free artists of Petersburg” discussed during the meeting.

St. Petersburg Association of Free Artists Gallery lies on Nevskii Prospekt and promotes many local emerging artists, also being home to a large permanent collection and featuring free admission. 

The National Museum of Kazakhstan supports the project "Free artists of St. Petersburg" and in the future will continue to cooperate in the formation and development of a common cultural space of the two states.

In conclusion of the round table artists presented some of their paintings to the  national Museum. Thus Latif Kazbekov presented his work “Stremitelny” personally. Another picture “Stoyky” was bought by Vyacheslav Kim who made a donation of it to the Museum. The Musem bought work by Aleksey Talaschuk “Lodocnhik” another two paintings the artists presented to the Museum personally.
