Nazarbayev and Putin discussed Eurasian integration processes’ development
During the meeting with President Vladimir Putin, two leaders considered priorities of bilateral cooperation and the development of the Eurasian integration processes.
Besides, the interlocutors exchanged their views on hot items of regional and international agenda.
The Kazakh Leader stressed the first meeting took place 15 years ago.
"In 1991 being the head of the Government you had paid a visit to Almaty. Since that time you have restored the vertical power structure in Russia due to which it has undergone striking changes. I would like to wish a great success in implementation the State of the Nation Address and other programs. The Agreement on Eurasian Economic Union has signed in Astana this year. It will start to work on January 1,2015. Notwithstanding ups and downs we should support viability of this organization and make it interesting,” the Head of State stated.
In turn Mr. Putin, pointed out key perspectives of the bilateral relations and plans for further deepening of integration.
Heads of states signed Protocol on exchange of Treaty ratifications between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation on good neighborly and allied relations in XXI century on November 11,2013 year.
It bears reminding, the Kazakh President has arrived in Moscow to participate in the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council and the sitting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
