The demand for the licorice root in the global market, particularly in Germany, USA, Turkey and Japan is significant. In addition to the delivery of the extract of licorice root, it is planned to establish the production of raw materials for 1200 species of medicinal products. In general, the region has a fund of 80 thousand ha, where licorice root grows.
"The work put by our businessmen in the development of the region, district yields the fruits. Both of these projects are industrial that gives the chance to force the development of the industry of the region. First, it is the new workplaces for local population, secondly, it is essential injections in the budget, and it is a new impulse for the development of the economy ", Krymbek Kusherbayev, governor said.
The projected cost of the plant for the production of lime was 777 million tenge, the annual capacity is 60 thousand tons of lime. 84 people are employed here. In the near future the production of silica brick will be the produced.
