“Kazakhstan considers potential of mining market outlets in East Asia and the Arab world,” Executive Officer of Association of Legal Entities “Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises” Nikolay Radostovets said during the V Congress of the employees of mining and metallurgical industry of Kazakhstan.
"The export volume of Kazakhstani steel products in Russia fell by 16%, in the first half of the year, aluminum exports - 26% copper export - by 93%.
In addition, there is a decrease in demand from China.
"We're looking for other markets. We began to work more actively with the countries of East Asia, we are actively considering the Arab countries, Iran. We understand it is needed to expand the port of Aktau, because we have real buyers there," he said.
