Swiss investors interested in integration processes in Eurasia

Business forum dedicated to the Eurasian economic integration and investment climate in Kazakhstan was held in Bern, Switzerland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reported.

The forum was attended by representatives of engineering, transport, power, chemical, pharmaceutical, tourism, agricultural, financial and insurance industries in Switzerland, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and the Swiss Federal Government.

Prospects of integration processes and a number of topical issues of bilateral economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Switzerland were debated during the  forum.

Besides, the participants were informed on tax and customs policy of Kazakhstan. Representatives of the companies Burckhardt Compression AG (oil & gas), ZurichAirportAG (transport sector) and ABB (energy) informed business experience in Kazakhstan

The outcome of the event indicate the growing interest of the Swiss business community in the integration processes in Eurasia and to expand economic cooperation with Kazakhstan, according to the  Kazakh MFA.
