Kazakhstan to introduce general declaration of income and property
"One of key actions of the forthcoming period is introduction of general declaration of the income and property of Kazakhstan citizens. For today providing with comprehensive control, individuals' declaring the income and identification of the persons who are evading paying taxes, is complicated because the declaration of the income and data on property makes only insignificant part of the population - 3.7%," Dzhumadildayev said at the press conference "Reported measures for improvement of tax administration and interaction of tax authorities with bodies of financial police on fight against shadow economy and corruption".
According to him, now, work is carried out on the relevant bill on the basis of the international experience.
"Introduction of general declaring is an instrument of counteraction to manifestations of shadow economy and expansion of tax base and, respectively, increases in receipts in the budget," A.Dzhumadildayev concluded.
