• Anchor- Hello, dear users! Today we have a new guest - Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev. Welcome to studio!

 - Askar Kuanyshevich, our users are interested when the construction of the international transport corridor "Western Europe –Western China" will end? And what plans has the department this year?

• A.Zhumagaliyev

- We plan to finish the project at the end of 2015. The hard work on this corridor is now conducted. As for the plan of the current year, we plan to construct 806 more km. For last years, by the way, it was already open for journey 915 km, and today cars can go along this corridor. Also I would like to note that this year reconstruction will begin on 480 km. These are such sites, as "Almaty - Horgos", "Tashkent-Shymkent" and "Shymkent - border of Zhambyl region".

-  For a long time Kazakhstan citizens waited for the construction of roads from Astana to Pavlodar and Karaganda, from Almaty to Kapchagaya will begin.  Do you have exact terms of construction?

• A.Zhumagaliyev

- The construction of roads "Astana-Pavlodar" and "Astana-Karaganda" will begin already in the nearest future. Works on design and budget documentation are complete after the contractor will be defined, construction will begin. It will be expensive with four-band movement. As for the route "Almaty — Kapchagay", its construction too will begin this year. By the way, according to the plan, there on some sites there will be six strips, it is connected with intensity of movement. That is, plus to a transport corridor "Western Europe –Western China" in Kazakhstan there will be still such powerful autobahns which will connect the regional centers.

-  Some users want to know, is the "Astana-Ust Kamenogorsk" road will be chargeable?  Whether there is in plans a construction of this road?

• A.Zhumagaliyev

- Yes, the road will be chargeable. At the request of the Head of state this year we will start developing the direction of Center - East.

• Anchor

- Recently with participation of the Head of state the railway line "Uzen —Turkmenistan border" was started. What expectations from this road? And what is its importance?

• A.Zhumagaliyev

- Its importance is not only that will connect two states of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, but also that it will connect the North to the South. It will allow to operate freight traffics, more precisely, to increase transit which goes from the North to the south. If to speak about concrete figures, it is the road that will allow us to reduce a way by 600 km. On this road there will be freights from Russia, Europe, through Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to Iran further to Gulf States. If to speak about volumes, by 2020 we plan to direct through this railroad 15 million tons of freights, from them 3 million tons transit.
