13 memoranda worth $860 mln signed in Almaty rgn
Following the results of the JETYSU INVEST-2019 International Investment Forum held in Almaty region, 13 memoranda worth 860 million US dollars were signed. This was announced by Governor of Almaty region Amandyk Batalov during a briefing on the results of the socio-economic development of the region for 10 months, which took place at the Central Communication Service under the President of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan, the press service of the Governor of Almaty region reports.
“The President constantly emphasizes the importance of attracting investments and new technologies, especially in the processing sphere, as key factors for sustainable economic growth. And we are taking all measures to create favorable investment climate and stimulate business activity. One of the results of this work was the holding of the expanded investment forum in October this year, at which we presented the opportunities of Almaty region. At the same time, we have the “Regional Development Center” in the region; this year we’ve opened modern front offices in the cities of Almaty and Taldykorgan, working on the “single window” principle”, Batalov said.
According to the Governor of Almaty region, there were participants from 9 countries among the 500 delegates of the JETYSU INVEST-2019 forum, including diplomats, representatives of multinational companies, and well-known businessmen. One of the main results of the investment forum was the signing of 13 memoranda worth 860 million US dollars.
