Int’l Conference “Ecology. Radiation. Health” kicked off in Semey

The X annual International scientific practical conference “Ecology. Radiation. Health” is taking place in Stat Medical University on Semey, East Kazakhstan region.
Leading experts of Kazakhstan, Russia and Japan participate in the conference, Information Center of the region reported.
The meeting will discuss radiation ecology and security, the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of population living at the territories of the ecologic ill being.
Besides, a document on the establishment of a consortium with Cambridge and Barnaul universities, universities of Korea and Japan to work together in the field of rehabilitation of victims of nuclear testing and further collaborative research is planned toi be signed at the confernce," Rector of Semey Medical University Tolebay Rakhypbekov informed.
