Kazakh National Museum and Saint Isaac's Cathedral signed cooperation memo

Director of Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Isaakievskiy Sobor, St. Petersburg Russia Nikolay Burov visited Astana on August 26. During the visit heads of two leading museums of the both countries- the National Museum of Kazakhstan and Russian state museum - Saint Isaac's Cathedral signed a memorandum on mutual cooperation, the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan informed.
Heads of museums Darkhan Mynbai and Nikolay Burov agreed on cooperation in scientific research and cultural educational activity, consultations and exchange of scientific information, documentation, and literature, providing the opportunity to make copies of certain exhibits and collections, exhibitions and exchange of scientists and experts in order to improve the skills of employees as well.
Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Isaakievskiy Sobor in Saint Petersburg, Russia is the largest Russian Orthodox cathedral (sobor) in the city .It is the largest orthodox basilica and the fourth largest cathedral in the world. It is dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great, who had been born on the feast day of that saint.
