Ferroalloy plant built within FIID initiated 20 tons of metal

Ferroalloy plant JSC "TNK" Kazchrome" which was constructed under the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development,” the Governor's office of Aktobe region informed.
The construction cost of the plant amounted to 843 million dollars. The production included four DC furnaces with total capacity of the new generation of 440 thousand tons of high-carbon ferrochrome.
Such innovative technologies as metal casting is carried out without buckets and lifting devices are installed in the plant. The innovations are significant in terms of occupational health and highly automated production processes earlier.
Production of refined ferrochromium and plant for ferroalloy waste recycling are the part of the investments plans of Kazakhchrome JSC.
