Ashgabat hosted briefing on occasion Day of Constitution of Kazakhstan
According to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, the participants were informed on main events of national and foreign policy, prospects of the Kazakh-Turkmen bilateral relations and the Kazakhstan’s initiatives.
In particular, presentation about the ATOM project, initiated by the Kazakh Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev and International exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana was organized within the meeting.
Besides, outcomes of the successful visit of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan H.E. Mr. Rashid Meredov to Kazakhstan on August 11-12 this year were considered during the meeting.
In addition, the meeting stressed the importance of “Zhezkazgan Beineu” and Arkakyk Shubarkol railway lines launched by the President of Kazakhstan on August 22 in Zhezkazgan.
