New leadership of Kazakhstani Consumer Protection Committee named
Committee Chairman - Aliakpar Matishev, previously held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Protection of Competition.
Deputy Chairman (Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Kazakhstan) - Zhandarbek Bekshin, previously held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Consumer Protection - Chief Medical Officer of Kazakhstan.
Deputy Chairman - Toleutay Murat, previously held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Agency for the Consumer Protection.
"January 1 Kazakhstan will join the new economic union, in which the Committee's role will change dramatically," the minister said.
Yerbolat Dossayev instructed the Committee to focus on the issues of technical barriers and consumer protection in the current framework of the Customs Union and WTO.
