Tuva to become first point of Eurasian integration axis
Mr. Fedorov is sure that Tuva like no other region suits as a platform for the movement of Eurasianism which is gaining momentum. Tuva is geographical center of Asia, and its capital Kyzyl together with Yekaterinburg, through which the boundary between Europe and Asia takes course, as well as German Dresden – geographical center of the Old World, form a symbolic bridge connecting not only two continents, but two ancient civilizations. Tuva may become a mainstay of the bridge in international project of integration of the Eurasian continent countries.
Academician proposed to Sholban Kara-ool to objectify his idea of European integration development into practice, namely to develop it at the platform of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of which he is. Forum was founded 5 years ago with the direct participation of Fedorov under the auspices of EECSA, and today gained a reputation of a powerful unifying resource of youth from different countries for development of creative solutions to urgent problems of national and world economy.
"It so happened that Yekaterinburg became the traditional venue of the forum and, in fact, its center. However, the ideology of Eurasianism implies not any one point on the map, but rather an axis which would unite countries of continents. Geographical symbols of Europe and Asia, like Dresden, Kyzyl and boundary Yekaterinburg could form this axis. Moreover, they have something to say and show to each other: I mean bright and original culture, ancient traditions and values of art which suggest parallels – for example, Scythian gold of Tuva with a history of 3000 years and art galleries of Dresden which are not less unique in terms of value. It is the brightest basis for cognitive discussions, search for something common in different» - said Mikhail Fedorov to the Head of Tuva.
Head of the Republic fully supported the idea of academician about creation of symbolic axis of the Eurasian integration with participation of Tuva: «It is needless to say that I welcome your initiative, which opens new opportunities for our young people to participate in large-scale economic initiatives, opportunity to realize themselves in work, in art, in career and professional growth».It is necessary to recall that Ural University which is headed by Mikhail Fedorov since 2005 is one of the most active participants of the youth wing of the Astana Economic Forum, for which it took first place in the nomination «Best Organizer» at the VII AEF, according to G-Global official website.
