Office of Fund for Financing of rural projects launched in E Kazakhstan
The Office will serve residents of Abay, Beskaragai, Borodulikha areas and settlements relating to the city of Semey (former Abralinskomu district), totally over 400 thousand people.
“For residents of the surrounding areas such a separation is very necessary. For example, residents of Abay district have to drive 400 miles to get to the regional center,“ Governor of Semey city Aybek Karimov stated.
Since 2007 the Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture, is engaged in micro-credit, rural and agricultural. Credits are issued through 14 regional branches and through a network of micro-credit organizations. In this case, the target audience of the fund are representatives of small business houses adjoining farms, for which it is very important to get a loan with a minimum of time and money.
In general, the loan portfolio of JSC "Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture today is 41.5 billion. The number of active borrowers - 20,681 people. In the first half of this year, the Fund issued 3,737 loans totaling 11.5 billion tenge, for the funds to provide employment 5839 people. Before the year is planned to finance the total amount of 23.7 billion tenge.
