Around 200 people take part in annual bike ride with participation of Alexander Vinokurov
"The purpose of the bike ride is charity. Hopefully, this event will become a good tradition, for the riders in Kazakhstan, and throughout the world. The campaign also aims at promoting the tourism in Shchuchinsk-Borovoye resort area," Olympic Champion Alexander Vinokourov said during the press conference in Borovoye on Saturday.
"Today's it is good to know that the children are involved in bike sport more and more, and I'm glad that we maintain this healthy lifestyle. Hopefully, this tradition will attract more and more children," Vinokurov said
The bike ride organized by the Rixos Borovoe Hotel together with the Charity Fund of Bulat Utemiratov"Asil Miras" under assistance of the regional Governor’s Office of Akmola region.
2014 "Tour de France" winner, "Astana" cycling team with headed by Vincenzo Nibali, about 200 people, including senior managers and employees of large local and foreign companies, heads of various government agencies participate in the bike ride.
