Around 350 assets to be channeled to competitive environment within privatization
According to the Republican property, 29 organizations and 3 facilities at the municipal property - 416 organizations will be privatized. Holdings and national companies will be transferred to the competitive environment 337 asset, including the NWF "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC - 106 assets, "Baiterek" Holding - 15, "KazAgro" Holding - 32 "Parassat" - 8 "Zerde" -2 SEC -174 organizations," the Kussainov added.
However, First Vice Minister of National Economy noted that Kazakh President charged to bring the share of state participation in the national economy up to 15% of GDP by 2020.
According to him, privatization narrows down public impact in different sectors of the economy, primarily through the transmission of non-core assets in the competitive market. This first of all applies to those areas where the state's participation is not necessary and the introduction of competition should have a positive impact on the quality of services for the end user.
