During the meeting the sides discussed the state and prospects of Kazakh-Omani relations. In particular, they expressed the need to establish closer ties between the Chambers of Commerce of the two countries.
The Kazakh diplomat also briefed about the preparation of Kazakhstan for EXPO-2017 international exhibition in Astana and expressed hope for active participation of Omani companies in this important event.
"In turn, S.Kiyumi assured the readiness to render necessary assistance in cooperation with the Kazakh side and expressed interest in organizing mutual visits and activities that will contribute to the further strengthening of friendly relations between Oman and Kazakhstan," a statement reads.
