Agr't on realization of first stage of Kenderli resort signed
Two hotels (4 and 5 stars), water park, water park and cottages are planned to be constructed as part of the first phase of the project. Development of a joint roadmap, the structure and financing schemes are discussed, the press service of the department informed.
The design capacity of the resort will be more than 20 hotels, 8 thousand villas and cottages for 40 thousand beds. The total investment is 3.3 billion dollars. According to preliminary estimates, the resort Kenderli will annually attract more than 640 thousand tourists by 2020. The implementation of export-oriented project (70% foreign and 30% local tourists) will create about 54 thousand new jobs in the country, the annual revenue forecast of 800 million dollars.
Currently, the Mangistau region is working on establishment of engineering and transport infrastructure of the "Kenderli" resort area.
