Kazakhstan selected best Mascot of EXPO 2017

The Vote for the best design of the exhibition Mascot has ended. More than 20 thousand people voted for mascots. The highest number of votes was scored by the Mascot “Tengri and Borі” - 3705 votes, according to NC "Astana EXPO 2017" JSC.

Among the top three mascots are also “Kunsulu, Bobek and Ulan” (3198 votes) and “Kunsulu, Dauylkhan and Tolkynay” (3019 votes).

Voting took place from 4 to 18 August 2014 on the site www.expo2017mascot.kz . The results can be viewed on the site right now. The winners of the EXPO 2017 commemorative prizes will be known in two weeks’ time.

The Contest for the best design of the exhibition Mascot was conducted in three stages. In the first qualifying round, jury selected the top seven designs out of all of the submitted works. The designs of the first stage finalists were proposed for the universal vote, which determined the top three designs.

The winner of the Contest, determined by the state committee from the three finalists of the second stage, will sign a contract to develop the EXPO 2017 Mascot Brand Book and will become the official author of the EXPO 2017 Mascot.
