Green certificates to give a kick to Kazakhstani processing plants
"One of the innovations of the document is the concept of" green "procurements, which will stimulate the processing enterprises manufacturing goods , for example, in the construction of roads, bridges, etc,” acting director of wastes management department of the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources of Kazakhstan Aidar Makhambet informed.
According to him, in West such processing plants are stimulated by the inclusion of issue and the so-called "green" certificates. It should be noted CT-KZ certificate are valid Kazakhstan as before.

Currently, the total amount of solid waste collected in Kazakhstan is about 100 million tons, the same time annually 5-6 million tons of solid wastes is produced annually. By 2025, this figure could rise to 8 million tons.
