“Kazakhstan expects a second wave of privatization, the whole system of the auction proceeds to an electronic format, which significantly reduces the number of documents that are required to participate,” Chairman of the Committee for State Property and Privatization of the Ministry of Finance Eduard Utepov announced in an interview to IA Strategy2050.kz
“In order to participate in bidding you should obtain an electronic signature, make a down payment, sign in your account and you get all the information on the projects of privatization, in terms of results, evaluation, information about these objects," he said.
According to him, electronic platform eliminates contacts between bidding participants.
“In addition, today the number of bidders is growing rapidly and is already about 2,700 active members,” Utepov stated.
This is a good figure, the total number of entries in the registry portal, more than 120 thousand visitors," E. Utepov pointed out.
