W Kazakhstan: KZT 39.9 bln allocated for education

39.9 billion tenge or 33% of the total budget of the region, was allocated to the education sphere this year,” the Governor's Office of West Kazakhstan region reports.

The education budget increased by 2.2 billion tenge just over last two years.

During the meeting with representatives of education sphere, head of the region Nurlan Nogayev noted a three-shifted education process eliminated due to methodical work. Herewith, there is the problem of small schools and the lack of teaching staff. Young professionals do not have the desire to go to work in the village, although we create for them favorable conditions. All this work is carried out to provide a quality education for their children. Their competitiveness will depend on this,” Nurlan Nogayev stated.

Besides, the Governor stressed 3307 of 4375 graduates participated in United National Testing. The average point of the region was 81.25 that is higher than the republican indicator. 112 graduates are holders of  Altyn belgi medal, 47  have got diploma with the honors.
