9 health facilities built in 2 years - Atyrau region

9 healthcare facilities have built over two years in Atyrau region. This year we plan to complete construction of 14 more facilities, the region Governor’s Office reported.
A number of primary health care organizations was 33 percent in 2012. Currently the numbers increased up to 68 percent.
Also as a result of work in the health sector, the birth rate per 1000 people was 13.6%, the mortality rate decreased by 14.3%, and the natural population growth rate was 5% over the first 6 months of this year.
"Since the Soviet era Atyrau region was among the leaders on the incidence of tuberculosis. Over the past 10 years, the incidence decreased 2.5 times, including by 30.4% over six months of this year," a statement reads.
